With today’s economy many people find themselves unemployed–forced to be home, looking for a new job or searching for a new career. You may find yourself in this boat. It was not so long ago when I had to leave the job force because of health reasons. I was lost and confused–and I’ll admit angry and frustrated.
But then I decided to put my energy into what I enjoyed doing–writing. I started to write about my hurts, disappointment, and my desires. Soon I started writing creative stories and articles–some of which were published while others were rejected. I struggled with this.
Why am I sharing this with you? Be cause this may be where you are–and I want to encourage you and maybe offer a little helpful advice.
- Know who you are
- Know what you are capable of doing
- Believe in yourself
- Don’t define yourself by your job or role
These are a few of the mistakes I made. I wrote an article for Work At Home For Moms that I think will be of benefit to you. You can read the entire article here.
You are a secret weapon just because you haven’t been fully revealed yet.
